We are rather regretting our comments on rain in our “final” flood bulletin of 2018. Typically, it hasn’t stopped raining since! As of this morning, the water level in the Tilshead borehole stands at 96.87 metres. This is close to the peak level of the 2015-16 season and, if we have a similar amount of rain again over the next 7 days, we could be in a flood situation similar to that of 2013-2014. We will keep a close eye on things each day and issue an alert if the threat increases
